Streszczenie
Artykuł podejmuje problematykę roli internetu w życiu współczesnych młodych ludzi na przykładzie studentów Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego. Po przeglądzie badań na temat sposobów i motywów korzystania z internetu, przeprowadzonych dotychczas na polskich studentach przez środowiska naukowe i ośrodki badawcze, następuje omówienie badań własnych autora oraz analiza wynikających z nich wniosków.

Abstract
The article presents the problem of the role of Internet in the life of present-day young people taking as the example students of University of Rzeszow. After looking through the research considering the ways and motivation of using Internet carried out on Polish students by scientific and research environments, we go to the description of own research of the author and the analysis of the results coming out from the research.
