VIRTUAL SYSTEM OF SOCIAL SUPPORT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF POSITIVE INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP IN THE REAL WORLD

Summary

In the present world virtual communities are building our reality. Not only they create theirs internal structures, but in a main way they effect the world beyond the network and the relations played in it.
In our presentation, on example of community „portal Plasterek.pl”, we show, that participation in virtual groups of support effects in a fundamental manner on improving the interpersonal relations in the real world of users.
In the first part of our research we will consider how the virtual reality realizes functions of support and why is it attractive place for those who seek for such help. We will analize principles of estabilishing mental connectivity among users of groups of support, due to which trust In personal relationship increases and allows to disclose needs and represent resources owned by the users.
We will show how groups of support on „Plasterek.pl” contribute a single person for better functioning in a real world, making themselves a safety space, where users can train new abbilities and gather necessary resources to introduce the change in social environment they are living.
