Streszczenie
W opracowaniu omówiono cloud computing jako model zarządzania usługami IT. Podano podstawowe definicje oraz syntetyczną charakterystykę idei tego podejścia. Zasadniczą część artykułu stanowi prezentacja wyników badań własnych autora w zakresie korzyści i przejawów związanych z wdrożeniem oraz zastosowaniem tego modelu, jak również ich ważności z punktu widzenia działania organizacji.

Summary
This paper presents cloud computing as a model for IT service management. IT provides basic definitions and synthetically characterized the idea of this approach. The main part of this article is presentation of the results of author’s own research results in the range of benefits and their manifestations associated with implementing and using this model as well as their importance from the point of view of the organization.
