Influence of the Internet on developmentof modern economy

Summary
Article is an attempt to falsification Tyler Cowen’s thesis about a negative impact of internet on economic development. Paper presents Cowen’s concept that is forward verified in light of the theoretical assumptions of production of virtual products. Is also analyzed financial situation of companies from different sectors of the economy which is aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness of internet sector companies. In conclusion author presents solutions which are use in enterprises as a result from application of internet technology. Conclusion also include a counter-thesis about positive impact of internet on economic effectiveness.
