Summary

Social media has recently evolved into a new business communication channel. The paper presents a typology of business models in social media and indicators of the effectiveness of actions taken on the fan pages. The absence of examples of possible estimations and calculations of the impact of specific actions taken in social media for financial effects was emphasized.
