Streszczenie
W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badania dotyczącego sieci współpracy i samokształcenia jako przykładu strategii wykorzystywanej w zarządzaniu placówkami szkolnymi. Celem przeprowadzonego badania była identyfikacja korzyści oraz trudności przy tworzeniu sieci, a także określenie sposobu funkcjonowania sieci współpracy. W ujęciu praktycznym celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie studium przypadku sieci współpracy i samokształcenia na przykładzie Rybnika. Wyniki pokazują, że pracownicy szkoły chętnie uczestniczą w pracach sieci i widzą wymierne korzyści dla siebie. Szkoły uczestniczące w sieci nawiązują ze sobą współpracę, co przyczynia się do lepszego funkcjonowania systemu oświaty w wymiarze lokalnym.

EDUCATION MANAGEMENT STRATEGY – NETWORK COOPERATION AND SELF-DIRECTED
Abstract
The subject of this article is to present the results of a survey on networking and selfstudy as an example of a strategy for the management of the schools. The aim of the study was to identify the benefits and difficulties of creating a network, and define the way the networks. In practical terms, the aim of this paper is to present a case study of design of networks and self-learning on the example of Rybnik. The results show that the school staff will be happy to participate in the network, they see tangible benefits for themselves. Schools participating in the network relate to each other cooperation, which contributes to a better functioning of the education system at the local level.
