Streszczenie
Jakość informacji medycznej jest zagadnieniem niezwykle istotnym, gdyż od niej zależy nie tylko zdrowie, ale i życie pacjentów. Ogrom treści udostępnianych online skłania do podjęcia działań w zakresie weryfi kacji tych źródeł m.in. pod względem ich wiarygodności, aktualności, kompletności czy relewantności. W artykule zaprezentowano problematykę jakości informacji o lekach dostępnej w internecie na przykładzie wybranych polskich serwisów o tematyce zdrowotnej. Wskazano na zróżnicowany jej poziom, słabości i mocne strony poszczególnych aspektów jakości. Sformułowano zalecenia w celu poprawy jej walorów.

Abstract
The quality of medical information is a very important issue, because it can affect not only health, but also the lives of patients. The vastness of the content available online tends to act in any verifi cation of sources including in terms of their validity, timeliness, completeness, or relevance of. The article presents the issues of quality of information about drugs available on the Internet, based on selected Polish websites about health. Author points to differences in the quality level, weaknesses and strengths of the various aspects of quality. It formulates also recommendations for the improvement of its characteristics.
