IN THE ISSUE OF FINANCING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES IN POLAND IN 1991–2008
Summary
The purpose of this paper is to analyze and evaluate the partial aspect of the Polish economy with regard to funding the R&D activities in 1991–2008 against the European Union. First part of the article discusses the total amount of money spend on R&D and their fluctuations within that period. The second part presents the structure of the R&D expenditure according to the source of funding taking into particular consideration the role of business. And the last part of the paper refers to changes within generic structure of funded R&D activities, where the focus was put on experimental development which results are often commercialized.
