USE OF THE EPS FACTOR IN INVESTORS’ EVALUATION
OF STOCK EXCHANGE’S COMPANIES
Summary
The financial analysis uses a wide range of indicators for assessing the financial condition of companies. One of them group that can be distinguished in the financial analysis are capital market’s indicators. Often used one is earnings per share (EPS) in this group. Presentation of the index’s trend helps investors in making decisions for the future. It should be emphasized that the stock exchange is often the place where the company improve: its financial strength, market position, and sometimes just by their presence on the stock market opens them the “door” to borrowers because of improving the image of the outside.
