SOURCES OF FINANCING OF INNOVATION IN POLISH ENTERPRISES IN 2003–2008 YEARS
Summary
Effective innovation activities and development of innovation require financial resources, which are still hardly available to enterprises. The most important, however, is the greatest possible involvement of private equity. This paper shows capital as a main source for innovation economy development. There is a variety of determinants and models of financing of innovation in Poland in the context of UE integration. The existing risk funds, loans and guarantee funds, are definitely not sufficient and they do not solve the issue of access to the so-called friendly capital which could be used in the development of innovation activities. The role of innovation capital have been presented in this article too.
