Streszczenie
Rynek instrumentów pochodnych jest najmłodszym rynkiem zawierającym w swojej złożoności stosunkowo młode instrumenty finansowe, które na globalnych rynkach zyskują szybko uznanie inwestorów. W ciągu ostatnich 20 lat podbił światowe rynki oraz zyskał miano najefektywniej rozwijającego się rynku.
Celem artykułu jest próba analizy kierunku rozwoju oraz struktury rynku instrumentów pochodnych w Polsce. Pierwsza część zawiera ogólny zarys całego systemu finansowego oraz wskazanie, gdzie znajduje się rynek instrumentów pochodnych, następnie są przedstawione zasady działania oraz podział tych instrumentów. Ostatnia część dotyczy analizy sytuacji na rynku w przeciągu ostatniej dekady.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE OTC DERIVATIVES MARKET OVER THE LAST DECADE
Summary
The derivatives’ market is the youngest among all financial instrument markets. Derivatives are quickly gaining investors recognition on global markets.It is said that for last 20 years it was the most successful and the most effectively developing market.
The main objective of this article is to analyse direction of development and the structure of derivatives’ market in Poland. The first part of the article focuses on general overview of the whole financial system and the place of derivatives’ market in it. Regulations and categorisation of derivatives are presented in the middle and the last part of the article contains market situational analyze during last decade.
