STRESZCZENIE
W artykule omówiono problem pracy studentów studiów stacjonarnych. Celem było określenie profilu studentów podejmujących pracę zawodową, poznanie przyczyn jej podjęcia i czynników motywujących studentów do pracy. Uzyskane wyniki pokazały, że praca podejmowana jest głównie dla uzyskania niezależności finansowej, studenci pracują na stanowiskach wymagających słabych kompetencji, a główne czynniki motywujące ich do pracy nie są związane z podnoszeniem kompetencji.

Abstract
The article addresses the problem of working full-time students. The main aim was to describe the profile of students who decide to take up employment, get to know reasons behind their decision and factors motivating them to get a job. The analysis indicates that students take up employment mainly to become independent financially, they are offered positions that do not require high level of competence, and what motivates them to work has little to do with improving their skills.
