STRESZCZENIE
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie sektora nowoczesnych usług biznesowych w Polsce, w tym jego stanu i rozwoju. Postawą badań w części empirycznej jest teoria trzech sektorów gospodarki. Polska jest zdecydowanym liderem pod względem wielkości zatrudnienia w sektorze nowoczesnych usług biznesowych w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej obejmujących centra usług wspólnych (SSC), outsourcingu procesów biznesowych (BPO), outsourcingu IT oraz centra badawczo-rozwojowe (R&D).

SERVICES SECTOR IN THE MODERN ECONOMY
Abstract
The aim of this article is to present the modern business services sector in Poland, its status and development. The background for the empirical part is the theory of the three sectors of the economy. Poland is an unquestionably leader in employment in the business services sector in Central and Eastern Europe: shared service centers (SSC), business process outsourcing centers (BPO), IT outsourcing centers (ITO) and research and development centers (R&D).
