STRESZCZENIE
Przedmiotem badań przedstawionych w niniejszym artykule był dobrobyt gospodarstw domowych rozumiany w wąskim znaczeniu, czyli dobrobyt materialny. W szczególności analizie poddano zmiany poziomu i zróżnicowania dobrobytu gospodarstw domowych w Polsce w latach 2004‒2012. Zbadano związek między dochodami, wydatkami konsumpcyjnymi i wyposażeniem gospodarstw domowych oraz poziom i zróżnicowanie mierników dobrobytu grup gospodarstw domowych wyróżnionych według kryterium głównego źródła dochodów. Zastosowano w badaniach modelowanie ekonometryczne i analizę statystyczną. W pracy wykorzystano przede wszystkim informacje źródłowe z prowadzonych przez Główny Urząd Statystyczny badań panelowych budżetów gospodarstw domowych, jak również dane zawarte w rocznikach statystycznych GUS.

DETERMINANTS OF THE LEVEL AND DIFFERENTIATION OF HOUSEHOLDS’ WELFARE IN POLAND IN 2004–2012
Abstract
The subject of the research presented in this article was the welfare of households, understood in the narrow sense, that is, material welfare. In particular, there were analyzed the level and differentiation of the welfare of households in 2004‒2012 in Poland. In addition, there was examined the relationship between income, consumer spending and household equipment and the level and differentiation of measures of the welfare distinguished by the criterion of the main sources of income of households groups.
In the study there was used econometrical and statistical analysis. The study was based on primarily source of information coming from the panel study of household budgets conducted by the Central Statistical Office, as well as the data contained in the statistical yearbooks of the Republic of Poland.
