Streszczenie
W artykule podjęto rozważania na temat współczesnej polityki gospodarczej w warunkach globalizacji, ukazując wszechstronność tej ostatniej. Przedstawiono etapy procesów prywatyzacji przeprowadzanych zgodnie z zaleceniami światowych instytucji finansowych, konsekwencje deindustrializacji zachodnich krajów europejskich i USA, jak również konsekwencje przenoszenia produkcji do krajów azjatyckich. Autor podejmuje także temat odejścia narodów Unii Europejskiej od idei, które przyświecały „ojcom założycielom", przedstawiono niebezpieczeństwa źle pojętej idei ochrony środowiska oraz konfrontowano państwa narodowe i regionalne inicjatyw z interesami wielkich korporacji.

Summary
In the article, the author contemplates about contemporary economic policy, as well as takes up the subject of globalisation by showing its versatility. He presents the stages of privatisation processes currently executed under recommendations of global financial institutions, the consequences of deindustrialising Western European nations and the USA, as well as the consequences of moving the production to Asian countries. The author also takes up the subject of departure of European Union's nations from ideas that guided the "founding fathers". He presents the dangers of badly comprehended ideas of environment protection and confronts a nation-state and regional initiatives against the interests of big corporations.
