Streszczenie
W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję zastosowania metod bilansowych do budowy satelitarnego rachunku sportu dla Polski. Jest to jedno z narzędzi, które umożliwia kompleksowe określenie ekonomicznego wymiaru sportu oraz jego wpływu na różne obszary funkcjonowania gospodarki (m.in. na zatrudnienie i produkcję). W artykule opisano metodologiczną koncepcję budowy rachunku satelitarnego sportu dla Polski, opartej głównie na zastosowaniu metod analizy input-output. Przedstawiono także wybrane wyniki badań empirycznych dotyczące udziału sportu w tworzeniu PKB Polski, a także oszacowanie wkładu bezpośredniego i pośredniego tej działalności w tworzenie wartości dodanej oraz w zatrudnienie.

BALANCE METHODS IN THE ANALYSIS OF THE SPORTS SECTOR IN POLAND
Summary
The article presents the concept of using input-output methods to build a Sport Satellite Account (SSA) for Poland. Construction of the SSA for Poland is a response to the expectations of the European Commission in developing methods for determining the economic dimension of sport. The aim of this study was to determine the participation of a wide range of sporting activities in the Polish GDP and estimate the direct and full contribution of this activity in creating value added and employment. The article also contains a brief description of the results.
