Summary
The article analyses current trends in capital flows to developing countries and their implications for the financial stability for these countries. The paper consists of two parts. The first one describes recent trends in capital flows to developing countries. It presents the growing role of lending by foreign banks as a part of international capital flows to developing countries. Part two examines risks stemming from increased bank lending to these group of countries from financial stability point of view.
