CHANGES IN GEOGRAPHICAL STRUCTURE OF POLISH FOREIGN TRADE TURNOVER IN THE YEARS 1990–2008
Summary
Contemporary world economy is undergoing constant changes which among other things are reflected in structure of international trade. Economic and social transformation which began in Poland in 1990 has caused serious changes in geographical structure of Polish foreign trade as well. The paper presents changes in geographical structure of Polish foreign trade turnover in the years 1990−2008 compared to tendencies in international trade. Special attention has been paid to the role of world trade leaders and European Community countries in Polish foreign trade.
