FORECASTING REGIONAL BUSINESS CYCLES
Summary
The research on the business cycles in Western is presented. The authors show the analysis of current economic state of the region. Special synthetic business cycle indicator is constructed, based on economic aggregates, such as: unemployment, industrial production, agricultural production, wages, infl ation and transportation. Latest results suggest further positive development. Unfortunately we still observe growing distance between West- -Pomerania and the best regions in Poland.
