DETERMINANTS OF DEVELOPMENT IN POLISH FAMILY BUSINESS

Summary
In this article have been presented a part conclusion gathered during literature researches of development in family business. The meaning of family business in economies of the EU and the USA is very large. They constitute from about 45% to 90% of all companies. In Poland family business developed and gathered significance from the beginning of 1990s. Nowadays the majority of the family companies in Poland belongs to SM sectors and have strong impact on polish economy. The work describes a specific character of the family companies, their classification and analyses the most important problems of succession.
