SELECTED TOPICS OF NORMALIZATION IN THE AREA OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Summary
The shaping of the quality of manufactured goods and offered services as well as of processes and systems in general is regulated by established norms. The key aspect of the normalization process is the quality of these norms. Creating and introducing high quality norms is not possible without a high quality normalization process. The established norms should be characterized by high quality. Their features should include: adequacy, unambiguity, comprehensibility, formal and linguistic correctness. This applies also to the ISO 9000:2000 norm family. Polish equivalents do not thoroughly fulfill these standards, therefore they need further improvement.
