Cel – poznanie zasobów kadrowych audytu wewnętrznego na świecie. Metodologia badania – badanie literaturowe publikacji zagranicznych i krajowych.
Wynik – poznanie wieku, płci, poziomu wykształcenia, kompetencji i umiejętności audytorów wewnętrznych oraz stosowanych technik audytu i typu wykonywanych badań.
Oryginalność/wartość – zaprezentowanie wyników badań na skalę światową.

Design/Methodology/Approach – literature analysis of foreign and Polish publications.
Findings – the study of age, gender, education level, competences and skills of internal auditors as well as techniques of audit used and types of examinations carried by them.
Originality/Value – The presentation of the results of the worldwide research.
