Streszczenie:
Sukuk to udziałowe instrumenty finansów islamskich niemające odpowiednika w konwencjonalnych finansach. W ostatnich kilkunastu latach są one najdynamiczniej rozwijającym się segmentem islamskiego rynku finansowego. Tendencji tej sprzyja powstawanie nowych konstrukcji sukuk oraz rozszerzanie zastosowań tych instrumentów. W gronie największych, w skali światowej, centrów obrotu sukuk są Londyn, Dublin oraz Luksemburg. Jako cel pracy potraktowano identyfikację czynników rozwoju europejskiego rynku obrotu sukuk. Zastosowanie metod krytycznej analizy literatury przedmiotu oraz analizy przyczynowo-skutkowej pozwoliło wskazać główne czynniki sukcesu, jakimi są korzystne dla emitentów sukuk i inwestorów regulacje prawno-podatkowe.

Abstract:
Sukuk are equity instruments of Islamic finance which do not have an equivalent in conventional finance. For more than ten years, they have been the most dynamically growing segment of the Islamic financial market. This trend is favored by the emergence of new sukuk constructions and the spread of applications for these instruments. The biggest centers of sukuk trade worldwide include London, Dublin and Luxembourg. This paper aims at identifying the determinants of development of the European sukuk trade market. The critical analysis of the literature on this subject allowed for stating that the main success factors in the analyzed centers are favorable legal and tax regulations.
