Streszczenie:
Pomnażanie bogactwa właścicieli stało się nadrzędnym celem prawie każdego podmiotu gospodarczego. Stąd też wszystkie działania oraz decyzje natury ekonomiczno-finansowej podporządkowane zostały takiemu zarządzaniu przedsiębiorstwem, aby pomnażana była jego wartość. Sprawozdanie finansowe, a przede wszystkim bilans, dostarcza podstawowych informacji na temat kondycji finansowej i majątkowej przedsiębiorstwa. Rozpatrując bilans przez pryzmat zarządzania wartością należy zwrócić uwagę, iż dostarczone informacje są niewystarczające.

Abstract:
To increase the wealth of owners has become the overriding aim of almost any enterprise. Therefore, all actions and decisions of the economic and financial nature have been subordinated to the company management leading to its value multiplication.
Financial statements and, above all, the balance sheet provides basic information about the financial condition and assets of the company. In considering the balance sheet through the prism of value management, it should be noted that the information provided is insufficient.
