Streszczenie
Fundusze unijne wspierają rozwój oraz przemiany społeczno-gospodarcze w Polsce od 1990 roku, kiedy państwa Wspólnoty Europejskiej stworzyły przedakcesyjny program Phare. Po akcesji do Unii Europejskiej w maju 2004 roku Polska uzyskała dostęp do wszystkich funduszy pomocowych, w tym funduszy strukturalnych oraz Funduszu Spójności, które należą do instrumentów realizacji unijnej polityki spójności, mającej na celu wyrównanie rozwoju 271 regionów UE. W obecnym programowaniu, w latach 2007-2013, Unia Europejska przeznaczyła rekordową kwotę 347,4 mld euro na rzecz wspierania wzrostu gospodarczego w regionach i tworzenia nowych miejsc pracy. Prawie 20% tej kwoty otrzymają polscy beneficjenci, w tym również przedsiębiorstwa. W artykule przedstawione zostaną możliwości współfinansowania działalności przedsiębiorstw w drodze pozyskania dotacji unijnych oraz zainteresowanie przedsiębiorstw tą formą finansowania na przykładzie województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego.

STRUCTURAL FUNDS IN 2007-2013 AS A SOURCE OF FINANCING FOR POLISH ENTERPRISES
Summary
European Union funds have supported the development and socio-economic changes in Poland since 1990, when members of the European Community created pre-accession program, called Phare. After accession to the European Union in May 2004, Poland was granted access to all funds, including the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, which are the instruments of EU cohesion policy, to compensate the development of the EU’s 271 regions. In the current programming period 2007-2013, the European Union has allocated record sum amounted to 347.4 billion euro to promote economic growth in the regions and create new vacancies. Almost 20% of this amount will receive Polish beneficiaries, including enterprises. The article presents the possibility of co-financing of entrepreneurial activity by obtaining EU subsidies and companies’ interest in this form of financing as an example of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship.
