The increase market value of firms increasingly depends on their innovativeness. On the other hand, innovations are associated with higher risks. Formation of regional innovation systems can significantly reduce these risks to accelerate the generation and transfer of innovation in the region. Such an innovation system and its relationship with the processes of growth of the market value of companies presented in the paper.
