USEFULNESS OF MAESURES OF HOSPITALS FINANCIAL CONDITION
Summary
Business activities of hospitals can be evaluated on the basis of economic measures that allow efficiency assessment of the researched subject as well as its properties and financial condition. A set of measures and analytic indicators provided in the indicators analyses is helpful in the evaluation of a medical institution.
This paper is aimed at evaluation of hospital financial condition measures usefulness. To reach the main goal the evaluation of financial condition of a chosen hospital was done the sources necessary in the indicators analyses of an institution (balance and profit and loss account).
Each subject referring to the information concerning its business evaluation (financial condition) shapes a different scope of it by choosing appropriate measures and indicators characteristic for the defined business area and their results.
